New features
Notable changes in this new version:
-
SMDK now verifies the presence of Smartmodule.toml and warns if it is missing.
-
The
offset_commit
method inConsumerStream
is now asynchronous, aligning it withoffset_flush
. -
The consumer stream now automatically reconnects when the connection is lost. You can customize this behavior using the
retry_mode
setting inConsumerConfigExtBuilder
:- RetryMode::TryForever – retries indefinitely (default).
- RetryMode::TryUntil(10) – retries up to 10 times.
- RetryMode::Disabled – disables automatic reconnection.
