Fluvio is a distributed, programmable streaming platform written in Rust.

We released Fluvio 0.16.1 last week.

New release​

Fluvio v0.16.1 is now available!

To update you can run fvm update

$ fvm update

New features​

Notable changes in this new version:

  • SMDK now verifies the presence of Smartmodule.toml and warns if it is missing.

  • The offset_commit method in ConsumerStream is now asynchronous, aligning it with offset_flush.

  • The consumer stream now automatically reconnects when the connection is lost. You can customize this behavior using the retry_mode setting in ConsumerConfigExtBuilder:

    • RetryMode::TryForever – retries indefinitely (default).
    • RetryMode::TryUntil(10) – retries up to 10 times.
    • RetryMode::Disabled – disables automatic reconnection.
